Settings to Consider - #4

   When creating a film, it is always important to identify the setting, or multiple settings. This is because it will help to match the event to when and where it is taking place. Since my film will be about a teenager who learns how to box, there should definitely be a boxing gym used at some point in the film. The location should also be clean and organized as well.     It should also include an exterior setting, which may showcase how the characters interact with each other more openly, and at certain times of the day. A great exterior setting to use would be around the neighborhood, because it is an easy place to go out and film at and there is a lot of space for different types of camera shots. There may be some parts of the film that need to be filmed at night, or during the day, and this can be greatly demonstrated using the natural lighting of the sun.   The location of the final battle should be noted as it may be included in the opening. Songs that could be incorporated - #10

  Songs are used many times in films, whether it was created just for a specific scene, or it was used to match the vibe. It is also something that the audience may be able to relate to, or just a song that they genuinely enjoy listening to. That being said, it is important to find the appropriate song to match the scene.   An example of a song that was made for a film was The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar's 'Pray for Me' in Black Panther. The song gave the vibe of a popping underground club and mixed well in the background as the characters exchanged dialogue. A song that I would like to use would be 'Everyday' by A$AP Rocky, as I feel that it would fit the theme of a training montage.   Another example is 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem in 8 Mile. This song fits well with the theme, as it was made as a reflection of Eminem's character, and was used to highlight his story. A song that would go well with a character's reflection I believe would be Michael Jack
