Camera work is important to film shots, but what about the work to put those shots together? For this, an editing software is needed. The editing software that seems the easiest to use for me is iMovie, as it is one that I am already most familiar with. Using this will make the process more simple and quick.
This software makes it easy to import videos straight from my phone or any other filming device and make it a movie, or in this case, an opening to one. Putting together all the clips is also fairly simple, as you can delete the ones you don't need, or shorten ones to cut out any extra length. You are also able to edit how loud the sound will be by using the volume tab. You can also add a voiceover or background music in the settings.
It also has support for green screen effects, which makes creating a background more accessible. Another good feature it has is the text feature, which allows you to add text to the screen. The last main feature is the speed section, which lets you edit how fast or slow a scene should be.
And if all of that didn't sound pretty clear cut, it also provides a tip option shown as a question mark, which makes it easier to navigate throughout the interface. All of the features combined will fully allow me to edit the final project to the best of my ability. From cuts to sound to the background, iMovie is a very simple, and easy-to-use software that I will be incorporating into my final revisions of the final project to make it as close to perfect as possible.
